About the role

BLOCKD AUSTRALIA' is looking for a passionate and talented Casual chocolate maker to join our team in Mermaid, Queensland. This is a casual role, 1-2 days per week to begin with, offering flexibility to work around your schedule.

What you'll be doing

Creating and producing high-quality chocolate products

Developing and testing new chocolate recipes and flavour combinations

Assisting with the packaging and labelling of chocolate products

Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards in the production area

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a chocolate maker or patisserie chef - not required but definitely an added bonus

Excellent knowledge of chocolate tempering, moulding, and enrobing techniques or a willingness to learn

Creative flair and an eye for detail to produce visually appealing chocolate creations

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and optimise processes

Excellent time management and organisational skills to meet production targets
