We are a family owned confectionery wholesale and distribution organisation operating out of the Gold Coast Region servicing Nationwide clients through multiple B2C and B2B channels. Our continued growth and expansion has led us to create a new role in our organisation that is currently fulfilled by a Managing Director. This role will provide the current operations team a dedicated leader with clear oversight and guidance in alignment with operational goals of management whilst allowing the Directors to focus on further business expansion and refinement

We are looking for an experienced manager that is confident and capable of leading our warehouse and fulfilment team currently comprised of six members with a hands on approach where the applicant will be learning all aspects of the warehouse and fulfilment workflows and procedures and will work alongside operations team members.

The primary focus of this role will be to lead the end-to-end daily functions of our warehouse and delivery functions, overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations and order processing, ensuring efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders

This role involves managing a team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and team alignment across inventory, fulfilment, and warehouse operations.

You will be responsible for the daily warehouse activities and objectives completion including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.

You will possess the relevant experience to Identify areas for improvement in warehouse operations and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.

Supervising, mentoring and motivating warehouse staff, ensuring proper training and adherence to procedures.

Core Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

Recruit, train, and manage warehouse staff.

Monitor team productivity, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.

Foster a positive team environment with clear communication and shared goals.

Operational Oversight

Managing the entire order fulfillment process, from receiving orders to shipping and delivery for both B2C and B2B workflows.

Lead delivery planning using routing software for maximum efficiency and minimal waste.

Oversee inventory control, stock rotation, and stock integrity.

Implement best practices in stock handling, from dry to cool room transitions.

Logistics & Coordination

Liaise with Sales Team to align order timelines, outbound deliveries, and prioritisation.

Maintain an up-to-date task board for team visibility and clarity.

Resolve customer order and delivery concerns with a solutions-oriented approach.

Strategy, Reporting & Improvement

Monitor KPIs for fulfilment accuracy, delivery efficiency, and warehouse productivity.

Identify and implement process and workflow improvements across warehousing and logistics.

Create and present performance reports to management with clear metrics and recommendations.

Standards & Brand Representation

Ensure the warehouse and showroom remain organised, clean, and visually welcoming

Oversee proper waste management and recycling protocols.

Represent the company with professionalism when engaging with customers, suppliers, and the public.
