About the role

This part-time Retail Assistant role at Australian Paddlesteamers Pty Ltd in Echuca, VIC presents an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and customer-focused team in the retail sector. You will play a key part in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the overall operations of the business.

What you'll be doing

Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service to all visitors

Assisting with the operation of the retail store, including cash handling, stock management, and merchandising

Maintaining a clean and well-presented retail environment

Offering product recommendations and information to customers

Supporting the wider team as required to ensure the smooth running of the business

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably in the tourism or hospitality industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

A positive, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude

What we offer

We also offer competitive remuneration and flexible work arrangements to support your work-life balance. You will have a 48hr fortnight, working 9am - 4pm on the following cycle. Week 1 Wed, Th. Week 2 M, Tu, W, Th, Sat. There is also ample opportunity to work extended shifts.
