About the role

Moorebank Amcal Pharmacy is seeking a passionate Pharmacy Assistant to join our Sleep Apnoea clinic in Moorebank, NSW on a casual basis. Your role within the pharmacy will be as a Pharmacy Sleep Technician to support our patients' health and wellbeing by providing expert advice and assistance in the field of sleep apnoea.

What you'll be doing

Conducting sleep studies to diagnose and monitor sleep apnoea

Provide CPAP therapy support, including mask fittings, machine education, and troubleshooting.

Collaborating with our team of pharmacists to review patient sleep test results and assist in explaining outcomes clearly and supportively

Deliver ongoing patient education and support to promote successful therapy outcomes.

Ensure all equipment is cleaned, prepared, and maintained appropriately

What we're looking for

Willingness to engage with customers to raise awareness about sleep apnoea.

Basic computer skills required, including: Using email and scheduling tools and inputting and managing patient data in clinical software.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate and support patients

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

A passion for improving patient outcomes and a commitment to delivering high-quality care
