Employment with Mid North Coast LHD requires candidates to hold a valid authority to work in Australia (Aust Work Rights Visa).
What you'll be doing
Assisting with provision of optimum service to patients by undertaking efficient and effective distribution of pharmaceuticals to wards and departments.
Providing technical assistance in the preparation of manufactured and sterile products and dispensing of prescriptions.
The MNCLHD are currently seeking Grade 1 Pharmacy Technicians to join our amazing team at Coffs Harbour Health Campus.
About you
- Qualification in a relevant field recognised by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia or up to Certificate Level III issued by a Registered Training Organisation in Hospital and Community Pharmacy qualifications deemed equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to distribute and dispense inpatient and outpatient medications accurately and independently.
- Demonstrated knowledge of pharmacy computer systems and an ability to learn new hospital computer systems.
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients and within a healthcare team.
- Proven organisational skills, meeting deadlines, attention to details and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Experience in pharmacy with the ability to demonstrate the skills, knowledge and ability needed to work in hospital pharmacy.

Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) covers an area of 11,335 square kilometres extending from Port Macquarie Hastings Local Government Area in the south to Coffs Harbour Local Government Area in the north.
MNCLHD is a non commercial government funded health organisation that provides quality health care at public hospitals in Bellingen, Coffs Harbour, Dorrigo, Kempsey, Macksville, Port Macquarie and Wauchope.
