About the role

We are seeking an experienced Motel Manager to join our team at Nelsons of Bridgetown Motel and Restaurant, a well-established motel located in the heart of Bridgetown, Western Australia. As the Motel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the motel's operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving the overall success of the business.

What you'll be doing

Manage the day-to-day operations of the motel, including reception, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services

Develop and implement strategies to maximise occupancy, revenue, and profitability

Oversee staff scheduling, training, rostering, wages, and performance management

Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service throughout the motel and restaurant

Manage the motel and restaurant budget and financial reporting

Continuously monitor and improve the motel's operations and guest experience

What we're looking for

Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar motel or hotel management role or similar role

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities

Proficient in financial management and budgeting

Understanding of the hospitality industry and current trends

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
