Duty Manager – Yanchep Inn

We’re looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join the team at The Yanchep Inn.

This is a hands-on role that involves running day-to-day operations across the venue, overseeing restaurant and bar service, and stepping in for the Venue Manager when they’re away. You’ll also be part of the management team responsible for running functions, weddings, and helping oversee our accommodation.

We’re a busy venue with plenty of variety:

300+ covers across lunch and dinner in the bar and restaurant

70–90 weddings a year across our inn and unique Cabaret Cave venue

High year-round occupancy in our accommodation

You’ll need to be confident leading a team, dealing with people, and keeping things moving under pressure. This role would suit someone with strong function or wedding management experience who’s keen to gain experience in a broader hospitality setting — or someone already working in pubs looking for a step up.

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in a similar supervisory or management role

Solid leadership and team coordination skills

Strong customer service focus — especially during busy periods

Confidence managing weddings, functions, or high-volume service

A current unrestricted Approved Manager’s card (WA)

Valid RSA and National Police Clearance
