Band 3 $44.88 per hour (casual loading included), plus 12% statutory superannuation if applicable

We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Casual Relieving Library Officers across all branches of the Wellington Shire Library Network. We especially encourage applications from individuals who live locally to Yarram and can be available at short notice.

In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service to library users, assisting with a variety of enquiries including borrowing, technology assistance, social connection, information requests and accessing online services. Delivery of library programming such as Storytime, Rock, Rhythm and Rhyme, Teen Night and Author talks are key responsibilities of this role. Further duties may include sorting, packing and transport of materials between branches.

We are looking for people who:

• Are confident using computers, smart devices, the internet and online services
• Can solve problems and manage challenging situations
• Are responsive and flexible with their availability
• Communicate well and enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds

You do not need library experience, but it helps. You must have a driver's licence and a Working with Children Check (or be willing to get one).
