We are looking for a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team in Byron Bay to assist us with marketing and promotion across all sectors.
The position is casual position for 38 hours a week, Level 4.1 of the Educational Services Award, General staff - $40.04 per hour. This role is casual for a 6-month probation period with the opportunity for casual conversion after this period. This role is for 38 hours per week, 9am - 5pm.
The roles and responsibilities are as follows:
Assist with the design, administration and maintenance of social media campaigns, and schedules.
Creation of communications tasks such as the creation of fortnightly EDM’s for distribution, brochures and marketing collateral for conferences, special promotions and advertising for Parentshop's projects, blog post creation and distribution, and other adhoc marketing tasks.
Assist with the maintenance of the CRM including running data integrity projects to maintain the marketing and EDM database.
Assist with the maintenance and application of the advertising schedule.
Assist with a website review and updates.
Perform ongoing research into marketing opportunities for all our income streams.
Assist with the creation of B2B and B2C marketing campaigns as they arise.
Update website when required.
Assist General Manager with project tasks as required.
Essential criteria:
A recognised business or marketing management qualification or degree and two to three years’ experience in a relevant job role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with well developed copy writing skills.
Highly proficient Microsoft Office skills, and ability to master specialised software (Canva, Contentful, InDesign.)
Digital content creation experience.
Ability to work to deadlines and to show attention to detail.
Ability to initiate and drive continuous improvement in your work with an outstanding work ethic.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Desirable:
Demonstrated proficiency in the Adobe suite of products, including Indesign and video editing experience.
