About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Library Services & Programs Officer to join Rosebud Library on a temporary basis until October 24 2025, inclusive, to cover leave.
Reporting to the Library Services Coordinator (Rosebud), the core responsibilities include:
Providing exceptional customer-focused service, placing our patrons at the heart of what we do.
· Supporting the day-to-day operations of the library including shelving, tidying and display maintenance.
· Supporting the library team in delivering positive, interactive programs and activities that engage all members of the community in lifelong learning, digital literacy and technology.
· Helping customers to access online library services, products and other technologies and providing assistance and support as part of face to face customer engagement
About You
· Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of learning activities and other programs within a public library
· Ability to effectively assist customers in the use of devices, apps, accessing the internet, creating documents, photocopying, printing from a personal device or library computer, and a confidence in assisting with ELibrary offerings
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to develop rapport with people from diverse backgrounds.
· Ability to work independently and operate effectively in a team, contributing positively and collaboratively to team operations and working relationships.
· Availability to work Saturdays and evenings as part of rostered shifts
· Current Working with Children Check/ National Police Check
