As a Learning Designer at Melbourne Online, you'll be at the forefront of creating innovative online education experiences for a world-class university. You'll have the opportunity to design and develop engaging digital courses, collaborate with diverse experts, and leverage cutting-edge technology to enhance student learning. Your role will directly impact the quality and effectiveness of online education, making this a key position for those passionate about instructional design and the future of higher education.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop Course Content: Create high-quality learning materials in Canvas, ensuring alignment with Melbourne Online standards and objectives.
- Collaborate on Multimedia Integration: Work with Media Producers and Graphic Designers to incorporate engaging videos, graphics, and interactive elements.
- Drive Technology Integration: Utilise advanced Canvas features and other technologies to enhance the online learning experience.
- Manage Project Timelines: Ensure subject builds stay on track, adhering to project plans and timelines.
You may be a great fit if:
You are a creative instructional designer with strong Canvas development skills, excellent stakeholder management abilities, and a passion for leveraging technology to create engaging online learning experiences.
You may also:
- Have a relevant tertiary qualification in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- Demonstrate previous experience as a learning design and development specialist, focusing on online Canvas production.
- Show expertise in Canvas builds, instructional design, and multimedia content development.
- Show proficiency in learning management systems and multimedia authoring tools.
