Role Overview
We’re seeking a hands-on Head Chef to oversee our kitchen operations and elevate our culinary offerings. This role is perfect for an ambitious junior sous-chef ready to lead a team, develop menus, and ensure consistent, top-tier delivery across all client events.
Key Responsibilities
Menu Development & Execution
Design and refine menus suited to corporate events, weddings, and seasonal offerings
Collaborate with founders and Executive Chef Alex Scott on concept and flavour direction
Kitchen Leadership
Manage, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment
Coordinate prep, plating, and quality control
Operations & Compliance
Oversee stock ordering, cost control, and inventory management
Maintain rigorous hygiene, safety, and Food HACCP standards
Event & Catering Delivery
Ensure all catering orders are executed flawlessly—on time and to specification
Assist onsite when required during high-profile events
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with the Sales & Marketing and Events teams to support client needs
Implement process improvements to enhance kitchen efficiency and culinary innovation
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in catering or high-volume kitchen environments
Strong leadership ability—ready to step into full kitchen management
Creative menu development skills with excellent flavour and presentation focus
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and cost awareness
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (e.g., HACCP certification)
A proactive team player with an upbeat, can-do attitude
