ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an outstanding opportunity for a detailed oriented and outgoing Assistant Accountant to be based in our Hornsby office with an immediate start if available. You will work closely with the Financial Accountant as a key team member to support our Finance Team in day-to-day business operations. The ideal candidate is eager to learn with a can-do attitude.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO

Data entry (Excel & MYOB)

Preparation and processing of invoices (training will be provided)

Assistance with Accounts Receivable

Assistance with month end processes

General admin duties, assist in day-to-day running of the office

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Prior work experience is preferred but not essential

Attitude! We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude and eager to learn

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Strong attention to detail

Time management skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of MYOB would be great but not essential

Intermediate computer skills (MS Excel)
