Zouki Group is a national privately owned cafe chain located within major hospitals across Australia and prides itself in providing high quality food and service.

We are looking for a passionate individual to join our finance team located in Notting Hill, Victoria.

You’ll be responsible for the full day-to-day accounts function including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reporting and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

Processing accounts payable invoices entry after verification of purchase orders against the company purchasing system and budgets.

Processing Bank reconciliations & supplier reconciliations

Processing payments to the suppliers and coordination of remittance advices

Liaising directly with operation staff and suppliers

Managing and dealing with various emails and telephone inquires

Assisting other members of the Finance team as appropriate and as directed for the resolution of issues or completion of deliverables

Assisting and liaising with Senior accountants in completion of month end reporting

Other ad hoc reconciliations and duties as required

Selection Criteria

A bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, Business or a similar discipline

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role

Should be a permanent resident or an Australian citizen

Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and

Experience in ERP system (Greentree) would be an advantage, but not essential.

Demonstrated data entry experience in a high-volume environment

Hospitality/Retail accounting experience preferable

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Superior attention to detail, organisational skills, multitasking and capabilities in terms of prioritizing work and meeting deadlines in tight time frame

Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn

Be driven and self-motivated to succeed and improve

Be highly trustworthy and reliable
