Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Financial Accountant to join their Finance and Investment Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to help the team through year end for a 4 month contract.

What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will:

• Lead and contribute to the preparation and delivery of financial reporting activities, ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and regulatory requirements
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, administrators, auditors, and regulators
• Assist with year-end financial reporting, managing timelines and stakeholder communications effectively
• Analyse complex accounting matters and prepare clear, well-supported accounting papers
• Support ongoing improvements in financial reporting processes and respond to emerging priorities and ad hoc tasks

What We’re Looking For
We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds who bring:

• CA or CPA qualification, or equivalent tertiary finance qualifications
• Proven experience preparing general purpose financial statements aligned with Australian Accounting Standards
• Strong knowledge of financial and regulatory taxation; experience in superannuation fund reporting is an advantage but not essential
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and numeric skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively, communicate clearly, and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
• Will consider working holiday visa applicants
