Location: Servicing West Arnhem Land, Northern Territory. While the ideal location for this position is Jabiru to effectively meet community needs, flexibility with location will be considered.

Salary Range: Up to $120,000 per annum

Are you a dedicated Psychologist ready to make a meaningful impact within Indigenous communities? Red Lily Health Service is seeking an enthusiastic Social Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) Program Coordinator to lead and provide essential SEWB services across West Arnhem Land. This role is an opportunity to deliver culturally sensitive mental health care and foster well-being for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through a holistic, community-centered approach.

About the Role

As the SEWB Program Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals, families, and communities facing a range of challenges, including mental health issues, domestic violence, alcohol and other drug (AOD) misuse, and multi-generational trauma. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing psychological assessments and therapeutic services to clients across Red Lily’s service areas.
  • Traveling to remote communities to deliver on-the-ground support and strengthen local SEWB initiatives.
  • Case managing clients and coordinating with service providers for comprehensive, integrated care.
  • Developing referral pathways to ensure clients have access to needed resources and support.

You will work alongside a multidisciplinary clinical team and experienced corporate staff to achieve better outcomes in early intervention, treatment, and mental health and AOD management.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant qualifications as a psychologist and experience in mental health, trauma, AOD, or domestic violence care.
  • Strong case management skills with a focus on cultural sensitivity and Indigenous health.
  • A willingness to travel to remote communities and work directly in community settings.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team to achieve holistic outcomes.
