An opportunity is available at Gove District Hospital for a Social Worker, with experience supporting recovery from domestic, family and sexual violence.

Gove District Hospital, located in Nhulunbuy on the Gove peninsula in the Northern Territory, is a regional 30 bed hospital providing acute medical, surgical, paediatric, respite and maternity services, emergency department services, and has an operating theatre. Additionally, the hospital hosts visiting specialist services coordinated through the specialist outpatient department.

Nhulunbuy is located on the Gove Peninsula, known for its beaches and fishing in the Northern Territory’s East Arnhem land. The area experiences a tropical climate with high temperatures and humidity, especially during the build-up (September). Nhulunbuy is considered a vibrant community with a high standard of services.
