We are in search of a new PART-TIME Finance Team Leader

$70k – 75k Annual Salary (based on Part-time 30 hours / week) + SUPER

Industry Leading Flexibility!

Minimum 30hrs / week with flexibility where needed) to join our Head Office Team! (Potential to develop into full-time in the future)

You’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and long-term financial integrity, including financial reporting, accounts oversight, payroll coordination, supporting HR processes & business systems.

As our Finance Team Leader, you will report directly to the SCJ Director while playing a central role in managing the company’s financial operations and supporting broader business functions including HR, compliance, and administration.

This is a varied role - ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, working independently, and leading a small admin team.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and audit Accounts Payable and Receivable functions

Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, Payroll Tax, FBT, Long Service Leave, and other statutory returns

Manage daily and weekly reconciliations across bank, credit cards, payroll

Produce regular financial reports: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet & 3 – way Cash Flow forecasting when required

Maintain internal financial controls and manage business compliance

Admin & HR Support

Oversee business insurances: Public Liability & Workers Comp

Provide general administrative support to all team members as needed

Coach the admin team, supporting their performance and development

General Business Operations

Troubleshoot basic IT issues and liaise with internal departments

Assist the Director and wider team with business analysis, clerical support and ad-hoc operational duties

Contribute to the development, review and communication of company policies and procedures

About You

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Bookkeeping and Financial Management

Bachelor of Commerce or a related field

Confident in Xero & Retail Express

Employment Hero experience desirable

A natural problem solver who enjoys improving processes

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Clear and confident communication with both financial and non-financial stakeholders
