We are looking for a full-time Restaurant Manger for a new High End Restaurant in Hastings.

$75,000 - $85,000 annually plus super
This role includes managing staff, enhancing customer satisfaction, maintaining quality control, and optimizing profitability. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the hospitality industry, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including wait staff, kitchen personnel, and support staff. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and support.
- Customer Service: Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained. Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Financial Management: Oversee the restaurant's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing expenses. Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase profitability.
- Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies. Order and receive products while ensuring proper storage and rotation to minimize waste.
- Menu Management: Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and update the menu, ensuring it meets customer preferences and market trends. Monitor food quality and presentation standards.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and local laws. Conduct regular inspections of the premises to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Marketing and Promotions: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Coordinate promotional events and special occasions to enhance the restaurant's visibility.
- Operational Efficiency: Streamline operations to improve efficiency in service and back-of-house processes. Assess and implement technology solutions that enhance service delivery and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- creditable in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and staff.
- Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Working Conditions
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Requires availability during peak hours, including nights and weekends.
