An industry leader within the Food and beverage sector is seeking a switched on Transport Coordinator for their large Manufacturing site in Kingsgrove.

Great opportunity for someone with transport operations experience and a high attention to detail to join a well established, Australian, family owned business.

This role is temporary initially but there may be permanent opportunities for the right person. You will be required to work 8 hours per day between 6:00am and 6:00pm.

About the role:

• Manage transport coordination nationally
• Receive transport orders and bookings
• Optimise routes and loads
• Liaise with transport carriers, customers and internal stakeholders
• Allocate to carriers and manage execution
• Ensure timely proof of delivery

About you:

• Strong background in transport operations, freight scheduling, or logistics coordination
• Previous experience with food distribution
• Proficiency with transport management systems and optimisation tools
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proven ability to manage fluctuating workloads and maintain composure under pressure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Sound judgment and analytical thinking when making operational decisions
• Understanding of Australian road transport regulations and compliance practices
