Downer is the lead contractor to provide Estate Maintenance and Operation Services (EMOS) to the Department of Defence in Queensland and Southern New South Wales.

We currently have Part Time and Causal opportunities for self-motivated, reliable Transport Operators (Coach Drivers) at HMAS Creswell. The Transport Operator will provide support for the day-to-day delivery of transport services to Defence.

We are looking for Casual drivers or Part time Mon- Fri 7am-11am (20 hrs pw)

This position will deliver a range of services including, but not limited to:

• Maintain a safe workplace and environment.
• Drive a 54-seater Coach. Requirement to transfer personnel to appointments as required.
• Ensure a safe driving service to Defence and Civilian customers.
• Comply with Transport Regulations and Defence Road Transport Instructions

Skills and Experience

• Suitability for Defence security clearance (Australian Citizenship);
• Experience driving coaches, with knowledge of local & wider Shoalhaven regions;
• Current HR Drivers License (mandatory);
• A NSW Transport Driver Authorisation (mandatory or willing to get);
• An understanding of Defence Traditions Protocols is an advantage;
• Must be flexible in working hours weekday & weekends;
