Program Manager – Full Time
North West Queensland Indigenous Community Social Services Ltd. (NWQICSS) is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and highly skilled individual to take on the role of Program Manager for our Riverbed Action Group Outreach & Support Services (RAGOSS) program.
This is a key leadership position responsible for the coordination, facilitation, referral, and administration of all aspects of the RAGOSS program. This includes planning, staffing, reporting, and monitoring of program activities. The successful candidate will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, lead diversionary activities for clients, and engage in targeted outreach to support individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
In addition, the Program Manager will collaborate with external agencies to connect clients with existing social support systems, ensuring holistic, culturally safe, and client-centered care.
Key Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in Management, Community Services, or a related field OR equivalent relevant experience.
Proven experience within the community services sector.
Strong understanding of relevant legislation, service agreements, and funding compliance requirements.
Demonstrated experience in case management and program coordination.
High-level communication, organisational, and time management skills; ability to multitask and maintain professional relationships.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and consultative skills across all levels.
Proficiency in report writing and program evaluation.
Strong computer and digital literacy skills.
Experience supervising and coordinating staff in a team environment.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Cultural competency and the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Possession of a current Open (C Class) Australian Driver’s Licence.
