We are seeking an experienced Transport Allocator to join a growing team with a leading International Freight Fowarder and Customs Broker based in Sydney. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in container transport operations who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has direct experience with 1-Stop and Container Chain systems.

You will play a key role in coordinating the FCL movements of import and export containers and managing the allocation and scheduling of our fleet. In return, you'll be supported by a close-knit team and provided with all the tools necessary to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate FCL movements of import and export containers
• Allocate and manifest trucks; liaise with drivers for smooth delivery and collection
• Ensure all wharf and container park bookings are accurate
• Apply container numbers to slot bookings
• Manage empty container dehires through Container Chain
• Maintain and update the transport management system accurately and in real time
• Optimise fleet operations and minimise delays
• Admin duties including reviewing driver run sheets, tolls, waiting time, and fuel costs

• High level of attention to detail
• A strong team player who thrives under pressure
• Prior experience using 1-Stop and Container Chain is essential
• Previous experience in transport planning or allocation highly regarded
• Willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• Solid data entry and computer literacy
• Strong time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
• Availability for full-time work, Monday to Friday, on-site
