Join a well-established civil construction company experiencing strong growth. We’re looking for an experienced Plant Allocator to take charge of daily scheduling and dispatch for our fleet of machinery, tipper trucks, and floats.
About the Role
As our Plant Allocator, you’ll coordinate plant and transport resources across multiple job sites. You'll work closely with operators, drivers, and clients to ensure efficient operations, high fleet utilisation, and full compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
Key Duties
Allocate and dispatch plant machinery, tippers, and floats
Manage daily schedules to meet operational deadlines
Liaise with clients, operators, and drivers to coordinate jobs
Monitor equipment availability and usage to optimise productivity
Maintain accurate records of movements and maintenance
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations
Provide general admin support to the operations team
About You
Proven experience in a Plant Allocator or Transport Dispatcher role (essential)
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication – written and verbal
Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using digital tools
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
Sound understanding of plant/equipment safety and transport compliance
