Painter/ Blaster Position

Argyle Engineering is located in east Kimberley of WA’s north is seeking a painter/blaster to join our team.

Argyle Engineering is a family owned and operated business that is the largest engineering company between Port Headland and Darwin. We service all industry and pride ourselves as being able to meet all your engineering requirements.

Having worked for industry throughout Australia and particularly in the north we know what is required to meet our customers needs. This means we need to ensure our finished product always meets their expectation of quality painted product.

We have a blast shed, a paint shed and a new spray booth that allows any job big or small to be finished to high standard.

The successful applicant needs to have experience in both commercial paint finishings as well as quality spray booth type finishings. Preparation and attention to detail ensure our customers return for our services.

The successful applicant will need to have the following:-

• Trade certificate.
• Proven experience in preparation and sand blasting.
• Proven experience in painting.
• Knowledge of paints and coatings.
• Practical knowledge on assembly fitter work associated with role.
• Experience in working in northern climatic conditions.
• Current driver’s license.
• Current forklift license.
• Current confined space ticket.
• Current working at heights.
• Self-driven work ethic with a can-do attitude.
• Organised in planning timing of jobs to be completed.
• Keep paint stock and consumables up to date.
