Workfast is seeking a Sandblaster for our client based in Landsdale, WA.

This hands-on role involves operating abrasive blasting equipment inside a large booth, performing quality control checks, and assisting with general warehouse tasks. The ideal candidate will have previous sandblasting experience, a strong work ethic, and a reliable attitude.

• $51.75 Per Hour + Penalties
• Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 2:30pm
  Friday: 6:00am – 12:00pm
• Earlier starts available during hotter months

What you need:

• Australian Driver's License & Own Car
• Forklift Licence
• White Card
• Proven experience with abrasive blasting or sandblasting
• Strong understanding of quality control and surface prep standards
• Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive, hands-on tasks
• Coating experience or warehouse experience is advantageous
• Attention to detail, safety focus, and a solid work ethic

What you will be doing:

• Operating abrasive blasting equipment in a 9x4m booth
• Blasting a variety of steel items for powder coating
• Conducting quality control checks to ensure correct surface prep
• Assisting with general warehouse duties during downtime
• Wrapping finished products for dispatch or storage
• Operating a forklift (if ticketed) to move materials and finished goods
• Supporting a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
