Machine Operator | Steel Manufacturing | Full-Time Night Shift

Allied Recruitment is seeking reliable and experienced Machine Operators for night shift work at a well-established steel manufacturing site in Jandakot. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity offering stable hours in a clean, safety-driven environment.

In this role, you’ll be operating various types of machinery—including CNC equipment, overhead cranes, and forklifts—to assist with the safe processing and movement of steel products. Previous experience in machine operation, ideally within steel or heavy industrial settings, is highly regarded.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Operate CNC plasma machines, forklifts, and overhead cranes to safely and efficiently cut and handle steel and aluminium products.

Load and unload materials, including raw stock and finished goods, with occasional manual handling as required.

Manage machinery in a fast-paced production setting, maintaining consistent output and minimal downtime.

Prepare outgoing goods by securely palletising, strapping, and wrapping items for dispatch.

Perform regular quality checks to ensure finished products align with company standards and client requirements.

Work closely with team members to meet daily production goals and keep operations running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For:

A current forklift licence is required.

Overhead crane experience is essential; holding a ticket is a strong advantage.

Experience with CNC plasma or laser cutting machines is highly regarded.

Previous work in steel fabrication or heavy manufacturing environments is preferred.

A background in machine operation or trade assistance will be beneficial.

Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test as part of pre-employment checks.

A valid driver’s licence and reliable transport are necessary for this role.
