ICT Support Technician – Full Time | $76,550 – $80,000 + Super

Are you passionate about IT and love helping people solve tech problems? 1001 Optometry is looking for a proactive and organised ICT Support Technician to join our Head Office team.

This full-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day – from resolving tech issues to improving systems and keeping our stores running smoothly.

About the Role

As our ICT Support Technician, you will:

Be the first point of contact for technical support across our network

Respond to inquiries, troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, software, internet, printers, POS and mobile devices

Support Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workplace

Assist with user setup, configuration, permissions, and IT onboarding

Maintain IT asset registers and ensure system reliability

Optimize the performance and utilization of software and hardware resources

Liaise with external vendors and contribute to ICT improvement projects

What We’re Looking For

A minimum of an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma (or overseas equivalent) in a relevant ICT field is required

1–2 years' experience in an ICT support role (retail or healthcare environment desirable)

Strong experience with Office 365 and Google Workplace troubleshooting

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Any experience with Optomate or other optometry software is a big plus

Someone organised, calm under pressure, and always willing to help
