The role:
We are seeking an organised and detail-focused ICT administrative professional to join our IT Department. The position will report to the Director of IT and Senior IT Officer.
Essential for this position is a "can-do" attitude, and a willingness and ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a team, particularly during peak periods. Successful candidates will be able to effectively manage conflicting priorities, and their strong communication skills will ensure they are able to provide high quality, professional, and efficient customer service to all stakeholders, with KOI’s reputation at the forefront at all times.
The main responsibilities will include:
Provide timely technical support to staff, teachers, and students to resolve IT related issues
Monitor and update all IT facilities and software at KOI to ensure full functions of KOI’s IT platform
Creating and removing user accounts, access rights, and email accounts for new staff, teachers, and students in IT systems.
Assist with the installations, upgrades, and maintenance of servers and network infrastructure.
Provide a training session for staff, teachers, and students in the appropriate use of IT systems in KOI.
Maintain up to date firmware, security patches, and windows updates for all IT systems.
Maintain and update information in KOI Website.
Troubleshoot and support desktops, email, databases, printers, and operating systems.
The successful candidate will have:
Diploma qualification or above in IT discipline
At least 1-year experience in a similar role/position
Strong knowledge of software upgrades, network patching, firewalls, routers, switches, and other networking devices
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) along with a high level of attention to detail and proven aptitude for analysing and resolving operational problems
Strong organisational skills
Ability to work within a team environment and autonomously without supervision
