About the role
- Permanent full time opportunity to provide the Director of Medical Services and The Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH) Executive Office with high-level confidential and administrative support including the organisation and management of matters referred to the Director of Medical Services for resolution.
- This role will manage and coordinate the daily schedule of the Director of Medical Services, facilitating a customer focused, high quality, and efficient service to achieve an optimal level of performance in a demanding executive environment.
- Liaison is required with a range of high-level key stakeholders within TPCH, the Department of Health, and across Metro North Health.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Monitor the Director Medical Services generic email account and action any items in a timely and confidential manner.
- Manage and organise all aspects of the office of the Director of Medical Services and provide dynamic, high-level business and senior administration support to the Director of Medical Services. This includes managing the schedule in line with established priorities and may at times be required for direct reports such as Director Medical Administration, Medical Director Safety Quality & Innovation and Director of Research. Diary management, correspondence and administration, financial and purchasing functions as delegated.
- Coordinate and prepare for meetings, agenda preparation including the coordination and running of reports for inclusion, minute taking on a senior level and at times actioning of and/or follow-up on action items.
- Under the direction of the Director of Medical Services, assist with human resource management, leave planning and recruitment.
