Backed by a world-class team, in-house manufacturing, and full support infrastructure (including Salesforce CRM and a dedicated finance division), they are now investing in a newly created role to drive growth across the Australian market.

The Role
This is a standout opportunity for a proven lighting professional to take the reins of a growing lighting division and drive national success across residential, commercial, and industrial markets. In this pivotal role, you'll lead from the front—developing strategic plans, nurturing key relationships, and scaling a high-performing sales team to deliver consistent results across Australia.

You'll join a respected brand with a reputation for quality and innovation, with the backing to grow and shape the lighting category for the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales Growth - Develop and implement plans to grow the lighting business nationally in line with company goal. Identify and capitalise on new growth opportunities and emerging market trends
  • Team Development - Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing national sales team. Set clear goals, support career development, and foster a culture of accountability
  • Customer Engagement - Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients including wholesalers, contractors, and designers. Act as a trusted advisor across residential, commercial, and industrial lighting projects
  • Market Expansion - Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and sales channels. Expand the brand’s reach into untapped markets
  • Sales Forecasting - Deliver accurate forecasting and feasibility reports using real-time market intelligence. Track KPIs and performance metrics to guide strategic decision-making
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with marketing, e-commerce, and product/category teams to support go-to-market strategy. Align sales efforts with national campaigns and product launches
  • Exhibitions & Events - Represent the business at major industry fairs and events to elevate brand presence
  • Supplier Liaison - Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure alignment with evolving product offerings

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong background in lighting, electrical, building automation or related sales field
  • Demonstrated success in sales leadership OR an attitude consistent with future leadership potential
  • Existing network within Electrical Wholesalers, Resellers, Builders, or A&D professionals
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to opening new markets
  • Strong communicator who can engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and scale a high-performance team
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and outcome-focused
  • Solid knowledge of industry standards, pricing strategies, and national distribution networks
  • Proven leadership experience managing nationwide B2B sales teams is ideal
  • Ability to analyse market trends and translate insights into actionable plans
  • Strong budget management and KPI tracking skills
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (ideally Salesforce) and a data-driven mindset
