We are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join our active strata legal team within our leading commercial law firm, based in the heart of Newstead.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative and secretarial support to a team of strata lawyers who deal in transactions, commercial, advisory and litigation matters

Liaising with clients on their matters

Preparing, editing, and formatting legal documents and correspondence

Managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings

Maintaining client files and records

Compiling briefs

File opening and closing

Billing

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & ABILITIES

3+ years as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant in a law firm

Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Excellent organisation and time-management

Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience with Actionstep practice management software, and/or exposure to the strata industry, would be an asset but not required
