Purpose-led spaces, built with care.

Coverite Projects is a specialist design and construction company based in Newcastle. We deliver across the education, aged care, commercial, early learning, and hospitality sectors. From master planning and architecture to project management and construction, we create places that support people, reflect values, and shape communities.

With 50 years of experience and long-term partnerships across NSW, we’re known for being strategic, reliable, and human. We care deeply about what we build and who we build it with — and we’re proud to work alongside some of the region's most respected schools, providers, and organisations.

The Opportunity

As our Contracts Administrator, you’ll play a critical role in the successful delivery of projects. You'll support our construction and delivery teams by managing contracts from initiation through closeout. You’ll help ensure every project runs smoothly, risks are managed early, and documentation is thorough, accurate, and aligned with client expectations and company standards.

What You’ll Do

Contract Administration & Support

Prepare, review, and manage subcontractor and supplier contracts across multiple projects

Assist with procurement processes and ensure all quotes, scopes, and variations are aligned

Track contract milestones, deadlines, approvals, and compliance documentation

Risk & Compliance

Identify potential risks and inconsistencies in documentation and proactively raise issues

Ensure all contract activities comply with legal requirements, company policies, and project needs

Support dispute resolution in collaboration with project managers and stakeholders

Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with Project Managers, Designers, Site Managers, and Finance teams to keep every project aligned

Liaise with external subcontractors and suppliers, maintaining professional and timely communication

Provide regular updates to internal teams to ensure clarity and accountability

Process & Systems

Maintain accurate and well-organised records across systems like Procore and Microsoft Suite

Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal contract admin processes and procedures

Assist with reporting and forecasting to help projects stay on time and on budget

What You Bring

3+ years’ experience in a Contracts Administrator or Project Coordinator role, preferably within construction

Strong working knowledge of contract law, project lifecycles, and subcontractor management

Excellent attention to detail, with strong documentation, communication, and negotiation skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract/project management systems (e.g. Procore)

A proactive mindset and the ability to prioritise effectively across multiple active projects

Bonus Points For

Formal qualifications in Construction, Law, Business or Project Management

Certification in contract administration (e.g., CPCM, CCM)

Familiarity with head contract and subcontractor frameworks in D&C environments

What We Offer You

Attractive Remuneration Package – Competitive base salary complemented by a generous bonus structure.
