Job description:
- Max-term Part-time: 15 hours per week (some flexibiliy on days/hours)
- SCHCADS Award: hourly rates range from $38 -$41 (dependent on experience)

Your Role
As a Support Worker at Edel Quinn, you will play a key role in empowering individuals experiencing homelessness on their path to stable housing. You will assist with client intake, assessments, and daily operations, ensuring each client receives the tailored care and support they need to thrive. Join a compassionate and inclusive team where your professional growth is valued, and your contributions make a meaningful difference in the community.
Your Responsibility
Assisting with intakes, assessments, and smooth exits from the service
Helping manage accommodation services including meal prep and room checks
Working alongside case workers to support group activities and referrals
Advocating for clients and helping them access essential services
Keeping accurate, professional records and maintaining a safe, clean space
Ensuring WHS standards are upheld at all times
- Supporting clients with day-to-day needs in line with their case plans
Profile description:
You Will Need
A Certificate qualification in a relevant field or current tertiary studies
Excellent communication and people skills
Confidence to work both independently and within a team
Good judgement and calm approach in challenging situations
A current first aid certificate
A respectful, ethical and non-judgemental approach
An understanding of WHS and risk management principles
- Available to work a rotating roster covering days, overnights and weekends, although not every week some flexibility required.
