The Opportunity:
As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the end-to-end AR functions. Working closely with the Financial Controller and Finance Business Partners, you’ll bring data to life - assisting with other financial duties beyond AR from time to time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and distribution of accurate customer monthly invoices and statements in a timely and efficient manner.
- Liaise with the Service Delivery teams to ensure that Y NT customers are invoiced correctly and timely.
- Preparation and analysis of monthly aged debtor listing to identify overdue amounts.
- Actively pursue overdue debts as directed in accordance with Y NT Debtor Recovery Policy and Procedures.
- Identifying and processing amounts to be written off as bad debts or credit notes, as approved by the Financial Controller, Chief Operating Officer, Executive Leader, Corporate Services or Chief Executive Officer.
- Reconcile outstanding debtors in the Accounts Receivable Module to the General Ledger (both in QuickBooks) following up and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner
About You:
Previous experience with QuickBooks will be an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years as Accounts Receivable Officer.
- Degree-qualified (or working towards) in accounting, finance, or business
- Proficient in Excel and financial systems
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Driven, organised, and passionate about community impact
- Willingness to travel within the Northern Territory
- NT C Class Driver Licence

- Valid Working with Children Clearance.
