NT Grace Mediclinic (OJO Medical Trust Pty Ltd) in Winnellie, NT is seeking a professional and experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be working together with the Practice Manager. Salary of AUD 65,037 for this full-time position.

You will undergo the following responsibilities and tasks.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable.

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation is kept.

Support the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.

Assist with payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payment to employees.

Respond to customer inquiries and contact them as needed.

Support the finance team during audits and in tax filing processes.

Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Perform other related duties as assigned to support the finance department.

Prepare and maintain records of standard costs and values for items such as raw materials and supplies.

Reconcile bank statements and assist in the month-end closing processes.

Prepare comprehensive reports on total costs, inventory adjustments, selling prices, and profits.

Qualifications:

Minimum of a certificate III qualification in accounts administration or another relevant field

Experience Requirement:

● At least 1-2 years of experience as an Accounts Clerk.

Essential Skills and Requirements:

A good understanding of basic accounting processes such as managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with payroll, and supporting budget preparation.

Comfortable using accounting systems and Microsoft Excel to complete daily tasks, prepare reports, and manage financial information.

Able to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and customers, both in writing and over the phone.

Able to work independently as well as support the finance team when needed, especially during audits, tax filings, and other time-sensitive tasks.
