About the role

Homebush Bay Foods is seeking an experienced Senior QA HACCP Manager to join our team in our Homebush, NSW location. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all quality assurance and food safety processes to ensure we consistently deliver high-quality products to our customers.

What you'll be doing

Developing, implementing and continuously improving our food safety and quality management systems, including HACCP

Monitoring production processes to identify and resolve any quality or compliance issues

Conducting internal audits and coordinating external audits to maintain food safety certifications

Analysing quality data and implementing corrective and preventative actions

Providing technical guidance and training to production staff on quality and food safety practices

Collaborating with other departments to improve overall product quality and operational efficiency

Ensuring compliance with all relevant food safety regulations and industry standards

Manage all labeling systems and labeling requirements.

Manage the cleaning team and the cleanliness of the factory

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Quality Assurance or a related field

Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior QA/HACCP role within the food manufacturing industry

Extensive knowledge of HACCP principles and experience implementing and maintaining HACCP systems

Strong understanding of food safety regulations, quality standards and best practices

Excellent problem-solving, analytical and process improvement skills

Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities

Proficient in using quality management software and data analysis tools
