About the Role

We're currently looking for an experienced and qualified Skipper to join our team on a casual basis, with opportunities to grow into more consistent hours for the right person.

What You’ll Be Doing

Safely and confidently operate our sailing catamarans

Host guests with energy, friendliness, and professionalism

Maintain clear, respectful communication with crew, guests & management

Uphold safety management systems and procedures

Set up, pack down, and assist with vessel presentation and basic cleaning

Provide water activities at island stops (e.g. SUPs, floats, beach games)

Help with vessel maintenance and take initiative on minor fixes

Keep accurate vessel logs and paperwork

Lead and support crew training when needed

Make every guest experience memorable – we love making people smile!

Who We’re Looking For

You’ll bring a strong background in skippering commercial vessels and ideally have experience in a high-energy, customer-facing role. Whether it’s a hen’s party or a high-end corporate charter, you know how to read the crowd, stay calm under pressure, and create an amazing onboard vibe.

You are:

Friendly, reliable, and down-to-earth

A confident and suitably qualified skipper (Current coxswain, NC1/NC2 or Master V) with strong vessel handling skills

Able to work as part of a team of 2 (Skipper plus GPH)

Happy to lend a hand and get stuck in – no egos here!

Fit, energetic, and comfortable with the physical demands of the job

A great communicator who loves connecting with people

Flexible and available for weekend work (especially Saturdays)

Committed to sticking around for at least 12 months

Bonus Points For:

MED qualifications or mechanical aptitude

Crew management/training experience

Sailing experience (preferred but not essential)

Current RSA and First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
