Café All Rounder - Gold Coast Airport (SSP Australia)

About the Role

SSP Australia is seeking experienced All-Rounders in all aspects of the Café, including barista, short order cooking and customer service to join our fast-paced team at Woolbumin, Gold Coast Airport. If you thrive in a high-energy environment and love working in all areas of a café, this role is for you.

You’ll be supported by great leadership, work with friendly and skilled colleagues, and play a key role in keeping our travellers happy with Great customers service, exceptional coffee and quick, delicious meals to-go or dine-in.

• Wollumbin Bar & Restaurant
• Paradox Bar & Restaurant
• Merlo Coffee
• The Sand Bar
• Social Espresso
• Beach Shack

Key Responsibilities:
• You will be required to make exceptional coffees in a high-pressure environment whilst maintaining standards at all times.
• You must also be able to prepare fast, yet simple food and pride yourself on food presentation.
• You will be able to work swiftly on multiple orders at once and be able to multitask between cooking, making coffees, refilling/restocking and serving customers.
• You will have exceptional customers service skills while being able to work under pressure.
What We’re Looking For
• Coffee experience, café kitchen and/or fast-food experience is preferred however we are happy to teach these skills for the right candidate.
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to prioritise tasks during busy periods
• Maintain a high level of customer service at all times
• Knowledge of Food Safety Standards, health and hygiene responsibilities
