Habitat Noosa is situated in 65 acres of beautiful National Park 25 minutes North of Noosa.

Our Everglades Eco Safaris leave directly from the grounds of Habitat Noosa which are situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Cootharaba. These award-winning tours take in the amazing Noosa Everglades, one of only two in the world.

We are seeking a Skipper / Guide & bus driver for our Everglades tours.

You must live with 45 minutes of Habitat Noosa and have reliable transport and have full work rights for Australia

The successful applicant must hold the following qualification and experience:

Current coxswain qualification - minimum.

2 years experience with guided tours.

Current First Aid certificate with CPR.

Drivers Authority

MR Licence

Duties include:

Skippering the vessel.

Driving the courtesy bus.

Providing onboard commentary, sound knowledge of local fauna/flora is an advantage although training will be provided.

Facilitating and organising customers for the self guided canoe experience.

Serving morning/afternoon tea.

General upkeep and cleaning of the vessel.

Fueling the vessel.

Our tours run every day with a maximum of 36 passengers on specially built vessels running twin outboards. Canoeing options are available within the tours, experience in this area is not essential but advantageous.

The position would also involve driving our courtesy buses. We collect passengers from 8 pickup points around Noosa.

We have a fun, friendly working environment set in the beautiful Cooloola National Park. We strive for Tourism Excellence and deliver this on a daily basis across multiple venues and outlets.
