About the Role

As General Manager, you’ll take the reins of Sydney’s newest nightclub and KTV, overseeing operations across the bar, floor team, and KTV. This is a high-impact leadership role suited to someone who thrives in complex environments and knows how to get the best from their people.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for venue cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation; customer service must be held in the highest regard

Responsible for customer relationships, building a targeted customer database, and driving business

Responsible for function and event management: provide quotes, manage reservation bookings, track RSVPs, send reminders, and improve the overall event experience

Responsible for maintaining inventory and ensuring the bar is well-stocked, including ordering and stocktakes

Work with managers to ensure venue maintenance (e.g. furniture, equipment such as video, audio, LED display, and stage lights)

Ensure POS systems are maintained and accurate on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis

Ensure daily operation reporting and cash handling is accurate and completed

Roster budgets are controlled during shifts

Ensure smooth daily operations; manager opening and closing checklists are completed daily

Attend weekly management meetings and provide reporting (including operations, marketing, and promotions)

Create staff policy and venue house policy and ensure these are adhered to

Role Expectations

Share the owner's vision of high standards, maintaining and creating a welcoming nightclub and KTV

Ensure great customer experience, ethical standards, and high quality in all aspects of operations

Work well with the owners to set and uphold the highest standards

Recruit, inspire, train, and motivate staff to excellence

Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Understand and manage relevant KPIs (e.g. revenue, gross profit, labour costs, and stock costs)

Perform well under pressure and meet deadlines
