About the Company: This is a privately owned civil and construction company who specialise in bulk earthworks and ground engineering technologies across Melbourne and the surrounding areas.
About the Role: We are seeking an Anchoring Drill Rig Operator to join our growing team on projects across Melbourne. Projects cover CFA, Bored, diaphragm walls, shoring and anchoring works across construction and infrastructure projects.
About the Duties:

• Operation of Anchor Drill Rigs
• Conduct pre-start drill rig checks
• Read plans and operate drill rigs in accordance with the project requirements
• Perform stressing and destressing operations as part of anchoring works.
• Be aware of changing ground conditions and can adjust drill rig operations accordingly
• Perform basic maintenance checks
• Keep drill activity records
• Be able to liaise with Site Engineers and Project Managers

About the Requirements:

• Be located in Melbourne or willing to relocate
• Have experience in operating Anchor Drilling Rigs
• Hold current tickets and licences
• Have a strong health & safety record
• Good communication skills
• Be a team player
