The Role

We are looking for an experienced excavator operator to run one of our installation crews throughout Melbourne.

Blade Pile is an national organisation that manufacturers, contracts and installs steel screw pile foundations for the residential and commercial construction industries.

In this role you will be required to do the following:

Operate installation machinery and install screw piles (6.5T Excavator, HR truck)

Prepare/load your truck with product and materials for each project

Drive from our Keysborough warehouse to job sites throughout Melbourne

Unload excavator and product from the truck and prepare the job site

Have the ability to read and understand plans and perform set outs when required

Safely and accurately install screw piles to engineered specification

Complete installation documentation and provide to operations team

Leave each job site in a tidy manner and professionaly represent the company at all times

Role Requirements

HR Truck license

Excavator ticket

White card

Strong experience operating excavators and driving trucks

Strong construction industry experience

Ability to understand construction plans and perform markouts on site

Ability to work independently and lead a small crew

Motivated and willing to work with the team to solve problems

Beneficial experience

Doggers ticket

Screw piling experience

Any engineering experience surrounding piling and foundations

Management experience
