the role

You will be joining our other consultants who are comprised of traffic engineers, civil engineers, transport planners and CAD drafters. You will be supporting the Senior team in the delivery of high-quality advice to a consolidated and blue-chip client base. Your tasks will include:

Preparation of Transport Impact Assessments, Travel Plans and Masterplanning Assessments.

Input into place-making, concept development, and feasibility studies.

Providing technical support and task management for traffic, transportation and placemaking projects locally, nationally and internationally.

Operational analysis and modelling of intersections and road networks,

Bicycle and pedestrian facility review and design,

Technical writing and report presentation.

required skills

A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus on Traffic and Transport Planning.

At least 2 years of work experience within the fields of traffic engineering and transport planning, including the performance of field work such as site inventories and/or traffic data collection.

Intermediate to advanced AutoCAD skills.

Excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.

preferred characteristics and skills

Experience with site trip generation, operational analysis of intersections and roadways, crash and safety analyses, signal design, and/or signing and striping layout and design.

Experience in analysis and report preparation.

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
