About the role

Northside General Surgeons' are seeking a friendly and experienced Specialist Receptionist to join their team on a casual basis in North Lakes, QLD. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly respected medical practice and provide exceptional customer service to patients.

What you'll be doing

Greeting patients and visitors in a warm and welcoming manner

Efficiently managing patient appointments, including booking, rescheduling and cancellations

Providing administrative support to the medical team, including preparing files and collating patient information

Answering and directing telephone enquiries in a professional and courteous manner

Assisting with various other administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Receptionist or in a similar customer service role, preferably in a medical or healthcare environment. Surgical bookings experience preferred but not required.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with patients, doctors and other staff members

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail

Proficiency in using medical software and computer systems preferably Genie Software

A friendly, professional and compassionate demeanour

This is a casual position with the opportunity to progress to Part-Time
