Metabolic GI Surgery Brisbane is a practice devoted to the treatment and management of obesity, weight-related health issues and holistic health and wellness, with surgical and non-surgical options tailored to each individual patient.

Due to growth within the practice, we are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our nursing team. The position will require experience in general surgical nursing, pre-operative assessment as well as post-operative management. Valid cannulation skills highly desired. The successful candidate will have experience dealing with general, gastrointestinal, surgical and bariatric nursing issues and patient management.

The position is advertised as full-time (negotiable) employment from our brand new facilities in the Chermside Health Hub to start in September.

Additional skills we are seeking;

· Ability to work cooperatively within a multi-disciplinary team and autonomously

· Ability to handle a fast-paced environment

· Excellent attention to detail

· Experience using Patient Management software (eg. Shexie, Best Practice, Genie etc)

· Competence in using Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft applications.
