Our well-established General Practice located in Aspley, is supported by 3 General Practitioners, visiting specialists, allied health practitioners and administrative staff.

We provide a respectful, positive and friendly work environment where you will be recognised and rewarded for your hard work. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support to patients and doctors.

Availability:

Shifts are rostered, Monday to Friday, 9 - 4pm

We may consider 4 days a week for the right applicant

Excellent hourly rate available to the right applicant

Daily duties will include:

Childhood and adult immunisations.

Covid vaccinations.

Order and monitor medical supplies and vaccines.

Chronic disease management - care plans, health assessments.

Pre-employment medical evaluations.

Assisting GP's with minor procedures- Implanon removals/insertion, biopsies, etc.

Removal of sutures, wound care, and dressings.

Daily maintenance of the treatment room, stock control, sterilization, and care of medical instruments and equipment.

Management of sample medication supplies.

Assist Practice Manager with relevant accreditation requirements.

Essential Requirements are:

AHPRA Registration.

Experience in general practice.

Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize and triage patients.

Experience using Best Practice is preferred but not essential.

Ability to maintain and supervise cold chain management.

Excellent communication skills are essential.

Proficient computer and admin skills.
