National Construction Manager – Interstate Volume Homebuilder

Are you an experienced Construction Manager ready to take your career national? Our client, an established interstate homebuilder, is seeking a National Construction Manager to lead construction operations across multiple states during a period of significant national expansion.

This is a rare opportunity for a senior construction leader with high-volume homebuilding experience to shape and drive strategy, quality, and performance across the country.

The Role As National Construction Manager, you will:

• Oversee construction operations across multiple states, ensuring performance, compliance, and consistency
• Provide leadership and strategic direction to State Construction Managers and Supervisors
• Monitor build quality, timelines, and cost efficiency across all active markets
• Implement and optimise systems, procedures, and safety frameworks nationally
• Conduct regular interstate visits (interstate travel approx. 1 week/month)

About You

You are an experienced senior construction professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments and understands the operational and strategic demands of a multi-state homebuilding business.

You’ll need:

• Extensive experience as a Construction Manager (ideally state-level) with a major volume homebuilder
• Proven ability to lead large teams and drive accountability, quality, and safety at scale
• Strong commercial acumen, project management, and system implementation experience
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills across multiple locations
• Flexibility to travel interstate regularly (1 week per month expected)
• Relevant building qualifications (Cert IV or higher) and required state licences
