Position Overview: As a Funeral Director's Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Funeral Directors and assisting grieving families during their time of need. Your empathy and attention to detail will ensure that every aspect of the funeral arrangements is handled with sensitivity and care.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with administrative tasks, including documentation and record-keeping.

Coordinate with various service providers to ensure seamless funeral services.

Prepare visitation and funeral setups to create a comforting environment for families and guests.

Provide a helping hand during Funeral Services and memorial ceremonies.

Be available for on-call requirements to provide assistance and support outside regular business hours if required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Empathetic and compassionate nature, with exceptional interpersonal skills.

Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.

Strong attention to detail to ensure precise funeral arrangements.

Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team.

Previous experience in the funeral industry is desirable but not mandatory.

Applicants must be comfortable with physical work, including lifting and moving heavy items.

A full Victorian driver’s licence is essential for this role.
