Lifestyle Assistant
Full-Time – 76 hours per fortnight
Location: Wangaratta, Victoria

St Catherine’s Wangaratta Inc. is a respected, not-for-profit aged care provider offering quality care to 72 residents in a supportive, aging-in-place environment.

We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Lifestyle Assistant to join our team full-time. This role is perfect for someone who is committed to enriching the lives of older people through engaging and meaningful lifestyle and leisure programs.

About the Role:

As a Lifestyle Assistant, you will work as part of a caring and collaborative team to deliver and evaluate person-centred lifestyle and activity programs that enhance residents’ wellbeing, connection, and joy.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the development and delivery of lifestyle and activities programs

Encourage resident participation and engagement

Assist with program evaluation and documentation

Build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

Essential Criteria:

Ability to implement and evaluate lifestyle & activities programs

Basic computer literacy

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

Desirable:

Previous experience working in aged care or a similar environment

Conditions of Employment:

This role is covered under the St Catherine’s Hostel Wangaratta Inc. (trading as St Catherine’s Hostel) ANMF and HSU Enterprise Agreement 2024.

This role is also subject to Enterprise Agreement wage increases each year in August.
